Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley as well as the mother of her child Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix was able to show an early interest to play sports while in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic talents at the moment. Within a short time after her first race, Felix placed second in the 200 meter race during the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to take classes in elementary school. Felix received her first Olympic medal in 2004 at the Summer Olympics which took place in Athens Greece. She broke an unofficial Junior World Record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 second. As of 2005, she became the youngest world champion of 200 meters during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, over her former Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix has consistently placed among the top 3 athletes in all her competitions in the Olympics which took place at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
